    desktop outlook en OAuth2

    Per 1 oktober 2022 stopt Microsoft met 'basic authentication' De nieuwe standaard wordt 'OAuth2'. Waarschijnlijk zal 'application authentication' nog even werken, maar duidelijk is het niet. Microsoft doet daar erg vaag over. Nu zijn er tig webpagina's, die laten zien hoe je met Azure een OAuth2 authentication aanmaakt. Alles leuk en aardig, maar hoe gaat Windows outlook daar mee om? Gaat dat alles automatisch of moet je alsnog een configuratie gaan uitvoeren om toegang te krijgen tot je mail.

    Kortom; wie weet hier het fijne daarvan?
    Delphi is great. Lazarus is more powerfull

    Google gmail werkt nu toch ook zo?
    Die hebben afgelopen jaar ook de basic auth eruit gegooid.

    Niets mis mee toch om met OAuth2 te werken en daar waar dat een probleem is een applicatie wachtwoord aan te maken.
